Brewmaster stagger10/28/2022 ![]() ![]() The amount of survival, control, utility, mobility, offense, or healing that you bring comes at the heavy expense of the others and either never meets the level that the other specs can bring or barely surpasses but leaves you subpar in every other category. In general, Brewmaster just seems like you skipped Windwalker or Mistweaver training to hit the bar every night for the past 10 years and the results are evident. Only includes the stagger indicator, party frames as idea where to. Made for m+ healing, will show only in 5man dungeon with brew tank. And why, of all the PVP talents, must this be the one granted by Conflict and Strife? Stagger indicator of brewmaster's stagger status for healers, with changing color and damage value of stagger. Hot Trub is tuned so low that it’s virtually useless. Stagger and Shuffle Instead of blocking, self-healing, or dodging like the other tank classes, Blizzard designed a new mitigation mechanic for Brewmasters, called Stagger. With so many classes having superior mobility in addition to an infinite supply of snares, why does Niuzao’s Essence not offer a duration of immunity? It’s not like that Rogue, DH, Warrior, Druid, Hunter, or Mage isn’t going to catch up to you or that DK isn’t going to Grip you back and then reapply the same snare you just cleared off. ![]() ![]() Why is Craft Nimble Brew so limited and outdated in its method of supply? Change this to a keg that you place down like Soulwell and let your entire team take one. It also doesn’t help that it doesn’t work properly half the time and you kick the player in some random, inconvenient direction. The reality, however, is that you’re pretty much just wasting a gcd unless you burn some other CC beforehand since it seems damn near every class has some means to recover from a knockback. Then there’s the fact that some of the PVP talents that SHOULD be good just are not that great. Need some means of increasing your depressingly low offense? PVP talents. Need group utility that’s more useful than angry Ox statues taunting pets? PVP talents. Need to make your cooldowns not absolutely useless? PVP talents. Need additional magic mitigation? PVP talent. There are too many tools wrapped up in PVP talents which inevitably leaves your kit lacking. DH’s and Warriors get to Leap around unimpeded. Suddenly Roll and Chi Torpedo lose their forward projection which makes you one of the slowest carriers in the game. To start with they’re harshly and unfairly punished for picking up orbs and carts. Unfortunately I have not tried blood DK or DH so I can't comment on their play styles.I think Brewmaster has a lot of issues in PVP. Its also unique in using blessings, you cast spells on yourself or team members to protect from damage, or to remove movement impairments, or to take part of the damage instead of a team member. The damage mitigation has long cool downs and should be used when necessary. ![]() The protection paladin relies on self healing. You'll find yourself using spells to increase your armor, heal, and to reduce taken damage. The bear is all in one class, it has multiple mitigation and healing spells. It doesn't have much healing, but if you use your mitigation correctly you'd be fine. So, if you use your brew, you will end up with 10k DoT damage instead of 20k.Ģ.Protection Warrior: The warrior depends on mitigating damage, you will always have shields up, some of them prevent damage, and others reduce it. The BM monk can use his brews to cleanse half of the Stagger damage. So, if you take a 50k hit, your hp will drop by 30k immediately, and you'll take the remaining 20k damage over the next 10 seconds (this is called Stagger). When a BM monk takes damage, it converts part of it into damage over time (DoT). I have tried couple of tanking specs and wanted to my experience maybe it'll be useful: ![]()
